Project: Dividing the frame

Exercise: Balance

The image below has three elements of the ropes on the right, the control pedestal on the left and Sheila in the middle balance this image.  I think this is quite a straight forward image as regards to balance.


The image below, of the entrance the National Museum of Rural Life, is balanced with the large figure of the museum to the left and behind with the tractor and information sign forward and to the right.


Again with this image below, the fern to the left, in the foreground, is balanced against the large house right in the background.


This image is balanced with the moorland separated by the winding road in the middle.  The amount of moorland is equal on each side of the road keeping the image balanced.




I am unsure of the balance in this image whither it is divided as indicated or whither the building in the centre is, as one, balanced.  Either way I consider it balanced.



The balance of this image is symmetrical from the centre line of the house with the same number of windows on each side, of similar size as shown on the scale diagram below.
